Lumen Cliff is an independent studio founded in 2019. We're four people across strategy, design and engineering, working with teams who care about the details.
Why we exist
Good work happens when the people doing it stay close to the problem.
We started Lumen Cliff because we wanted to work differently: fewer layers, more time with the people who actually use the product, and no hand-off between strategy, design and engineering.
We take on a small number of projects each year. That lets us stay involved from the first conversation to the launch, and it keeps the team small enough that everyone knows the work.
We work remotely across Europe and take on projects worldwide. Most of our clients come through people we've worked with before.

Mara Lind
Founder & Creative Director
Mara leads strategy and identity. She has spent fifteen years helping teams explain what they do and why it matters.
Theo Marchand
Design Lead
Theo shapes product experiences and design systems. He likes interfaces that feel obvious and code that stays readable.
Ines Duarte
Product Designer
Ines turns research into clear flows. She is the person who asks what happens when the user changes their mind.
Samir Haddad
Engineer
Samir builds fast, accessible front ends. He would rather ship a real prototype on Tuesday than a perfect mockup on Friday.

We say what we think, early. A hard question in week one is cheaper than a surprise in week ten.
